Meeting the needs of the most vulnerable through a collaborative effort among community partners.

The Problem: For those who have been sex trafficked, basic needs such as food, clothes, hygiene items and safe shelter, can be difficult to locate and navigate, especially during a crisis situation. Many programs are only available during daytime hours, leaving a huge gap to access resources for survivors who are often rescued at night or on the weekends.

Our Solution: The Bridging The Gap Human Trafficking mobile app is a “Real Time” communication tool—easily connecting law enforcement, advocates and approved community partners to help meet the needs of survivors.

Outcome: Experience and research shows that survivors who get their immediate needs met feel safe, valued, and cared for—creating a higher success rate of getting out of the cycle of abuse, away from their abuser and ultimately onto their healing journey. We have been part of hundreds of survivor stories who were given wrap-around care and services who are now successful survivor leaders.

Our vision is to bring the BTGHT mobile app to every region that follows trauma informed standards of care to help sexually exploited survivors and other vulnerable populations. The mobile app naturally fosters collaboration and helps connect rural and tribal communities to resources and service providers in their region.
